Hello, welcome to “The Quiet Flame” blog. I created this website with two people in mind, Christians who are autistic and believers who want to learn more about autism.

Being autistic myself, I have found that many people can misunderstand why I act the way I do or why others have higher support needs. I am hoping this blog can help bridge the gaps between the neurotypical and neurodivergent Christians.

Also, I want this blog to be a place for autistic individuals to feel validated. Its hard enough trying be a Christian as a Neurotypical but being a Christian as autistic can be difficult. Satan will tell us that it is impossible for us to make it to heaven with the unique challenges we have, but it is always possible with God.

I chose the title “The Quiet Flame” because we are the light of the world, autistic or not. Our flame may not be the same as everyone else’s but it still shines bright.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
